This is probably going to depend on the policy of the particular forum
you are posting to. I would check to see if they have an FAQ that
permits posting. You may want to post the how-to question on that
forum.
At any rate, here are some things to try:
Option 1:
Upload the picture to Picasa Web Albums. Each picture on the detail
page has a link that says “Embed in Blog/ Myspace”. Click that link can
copy the little bit of code that appears and paste that into your forum
post. This may or may not work.
Option 2.
Some forums have special syntax to use to post to forms. Try right
clicking the picture in the picasa web album you want to embed , choose
“Copy picture location” then go to your forums post and pat that link
between the following again, this may or may
not work.
Option 3.
Upload the pictures to a picasa web album. Then copy the URL of that
album. then write in your forum post: See my hunting pictures here:
http://picasaweb.google.com/yourname/youralbum
Some forum software will automatically turn that into a link for you.
Sorry, I can’t be more specific. Each forum is a little different.

How do I refresh or update the image folders in Picasa? I am having
trouble with Picasa showing me the new images I upload from my camera
to the hard drive.
I have tried the tree view but it doesn’t show the new folders.
Thanks

Make sure Picasa is monitoring the folder. Go to “File” then “Add
Folder to Picasa”. In the Folder list that appears make sure the folder
you are interested in has a little “eye” icon next to it.

When I copied my holiday photos from one album into another they copied
in reverse order. How do I correct this without having to move each
photos individually?

In the library view, right click the folder. Choose “Sort Photos By”
then Choose “Date”. That should put them on the order you took them.

There is an ongoing discussion in the Picasa Google group about how “Picasa is pronounced.
Now that is funny.

I’ve imported all of my daughters pictures into my Picasa by mistake.
When I try and delete them from my “album” I get a warning that they
will be deleted from the hard disk. How can I remove them from my
Picasa and not delete them altogether ?

Go to “Tools” then “Folder Manger” highlight the folder(s) and choose
“Remove from Picasa.” That should remove the Folder from view in Picasa
without affecting the files on disk. (Of course it never hurts to make
a backup of those pictures first just to CYA ;-) )

Xena Asks:
Sometimes I do have odd size of picture, such as panorama or square
(old camera) picture, which I would like to “zoom-in” or “zoom-out”
onto 4inch x 6inch format. I would not mind those white stripes
,horizontal or vertical, which would appear on the sides or top and
bottom of the resulting photo. How can I do it?

When on the Print Layout screen, click the “Shrink to Fit” button. The
whole image should them appear on the selected paper — with white
stripes around the image as necessary.

Widgetoregon asks:
I am trying to create a card and Publisher only “finds” the unenhanced
pictures. How do I get the ones that have been made “picture perfect”
into Microsoft Publisher?

I’ve had to do the same thing — I usually use the “Save a copy” choice
from the File menu. That way I can still undo my changes in the
original if I have to, and have a corrected version to use in
documents. If I recall correctly the copy of the image should end up in
the same folder as the original, but down at the bottom of the folder.
